Fixed Issues for Encompass Consumer Connect April 2017
Electronic Document Management Update

The previous release introduced changes to the Send windows in the eFolder in Encompass to support the authentication method used by borrowers and other parties who are accessing a loan application from an Encompass Consumer Connect website. With this change, the ability to request or send files to multiple non-borrower recipients of the same Recipient Type (such as appraiser, lender, attorney, and so on) was no longer supported. For example, if an appraiser was already assigned to a loan, files could not be requested or sent to an additional appraiser from the Encompass eFolder for that loan and could not be authenticated in Loan Connect.
This issue is resolved with Encompass 17.1 April 2017 Critical Patch 1. With this patch, the Request Files and Send Files windows now support adding multiple recipients of the same Recipient Type. In addition, multiple non-borrower recipients of the same Recipient Type can now authenticate and access packages in Loan Connect.
This patch also introduces a new option. When adding multiple recipients of the same Recipient Type, you can choose whether to replace the existing recipient as the main contact for that Recipient Type. For example, when entering an additional appraiser for a loan, the File Contacts window now displays a dialog box (as shown below) asking if you want update the existing appraiser details. Selecting Yes, adds the new recipient to the File Contacts tool as the loan file contact for that category. Selecting No, will only add the recipient to the list of contacts who can be selected from the File Contacts window, allowing you to select them from the list when sending files at a later time.
