The Encompass 18.2 June Service Pack includes updates to users' Encompass client machines and a Server Patch that is applied to the Encompass Server.

Encompass Release Naming and Timing Reminder
As a reminder, Ellie Mae has aligned our software updates with the appropriate tech nomenclature so we can be clear and consistent in our communication. The process in which you receive updates remains the same. To help you understand and prepare for releases and updates, please review the Encompass Product Release Naming Conventions page.
Certain Service Pack and Critical Patch releases are always applied to your users' computers automatically and cannot be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. Typically these are releases that include critical compliance or feature updates, or changes to the Encompass Server that result in a new Encompass version number.
The 18.2 June Service Pack contains updates to users' Encompass client machines (18.2.0.8) and a Server Patch (server patch 5) that is applied to the Encompass Server. The client-side update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
Please note that the Server Patch included with this release will be applied to the Encompass Server automatically and cannot be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool.
In Encompass, go to Help > About Encompass in the menu bar to view your Encompass version. If you apply the update, your new version number will be 18.2.0.8 Server Patch 5.

There is no impact to the Encompass SDK (Encompass Software Development Kit). A new SDK package has not been created for this release.
