Velocify LeadManager 23.1 Major Release: Feature Enhancements

This section discusses the updates and enhancements to existing features, services, or settings that are provided in this release.

Important Notice - Action Required!

Twilio and other carriers now require clients to register for SMS A2P (Application to Person) to send text messages to leads. If you use SMS, and have not registered yet, please do so now.

Stir-Shaken and CNAM must also be registered if you use Dial-IQ.

  • Registration for Stir-Shaken, A2P and CNAM: Download, complete, and submit the Carrier Business Information Registration Form to register for all three at once: Stir-Shaken, CNAM and SMS A2P.

  • The form must be fully completed, including EIN (US Business Tax ID), and 2 sample SMS messages. Ensure that the messages include Opt-Out information such as Txt STOP to Quit at the end.

  • Email completed PDF form to ICE at SMSRegistration@ICE.com and we will register you.

Security Enhancements

Additional security enabled on certain API endpoints to prevent the possibility of exploitation. Authenticated access is required for the following URLs:

Lead Management

The Manual Import Service introduced with the Velocify LeadManager 21.4 February Service Pack as an optional feature will now be activated on all Velocify instances starting with the Velocify LoanEngage 23.1 Major Release and continuing throughout 2023. This upgraded version is exactly the same as the previous version except that it offers quicker imports, and improved simulation and post-import reporting. File formats will include csv, xls, xlsx, tab and txt.

User Experience (UX)

UX components have been updated to support new framework and current technologies. As a result, the following pages have slight differences (keeping the functionality intact) while navigating through them:

Prior to this release, when you submitted a new password from the Reset Password page you were immediately logged into Velocify. Starting with this release, you will be redirected to the main login page for enhanced security, and will no longer be automatically logged into the application.

SMS

Various updates, fixes, and enhancements in the SMS Chat feature, including but not limited to the following:

  • Unread message handling improvements

  • Warning user when overriding SMS Time Zone protect (based on client setting)

  • Do not allow over 250 characters to be typed since that is the limit

  • Conversation updated when lead name changes (not shown in UI if chat is open/active)

  • Enter to send message

  • UI focus enhancements when sending a message or after "load more"

  • Enhanced consistency if multiple tabs with chat are open

  • When lead deleted/unassigned go back to lead view

  • Error messages that should not show up are now fixed

  • Increased capacity of Leads view from 30 to 100 (available with a Critical Patch after the Velocify 23.1 Major Release, date is TBD)
