Feature Enhancements
This section discusses the updates and enhancements to existing forms, features, services, or settings that are provided in this release.
Email Service Update
The Velocify 19.4 January 2020 Service Pack released a Sunset Policy feature within a new Email Settings tab, to help enable you to define when your emails will stop being sent to unresponsive recipients.
Sunset Policy enables you to track lead activity on your email communications, stop sending emails to unresponsive leads, and focus on those who are engaging with you, thereby helping improve the efficiency and productivity of your marketing campaigns, and improving your inbox delivery rates among email providers.
Starting with this release, if an email is not sent due to Sunset Policy, email Logs display an email not sent entry, and the reason for not sending (sunset policy).
- From your Leads list view (Priority View or Normal View), click the Edit button corresponding to a lead.
- On the Lead Details page, go to the History panel, and select Logs Only.
- Click an Email Dropped: Condition Not Met entry to view details.
- The Email Delivery Logs panel displays for that entry, with details such as recipient email address and reason for not sending (Sunset policy is not satisfied for <email address>)
For more information on Sunset Policy, see: Email Updates section of the 19.4 January 2020 Service Pack Release Notes and Sunset Policy section (page 10) of the Velocify Email Migration Guide.
Reports Enhancement
Starting with this release, time duration values in reports (such as User Call Activity and Call History) no longer include ‘min’ or ‘hrs’, for easier management and manipulation of the data. Table headers in reports have been updated to display the units of time such as hours (hrs), minutes (min), seconds (sec), instead.
- Click your name on the top-right corner of any page, and under the Reporting section, click Dial-IQ.
- Click the Call History tab, select your filters, and click the Apply button.
- Note that the Wait Time column values no longer display units of time, and the header displays (hrs:min: sec).
Migration from SDK to APIs
Sync and Lead Create from Encompass to Velocify can now be handled using APIs which will help improve scalability and speed of updates/lead creation. With the new APIs, updates from Encompass will be completed in real time instead of every 15 minutes. Your Velocify instance will be automatically upgraded to this new API architecture as part of the SDK retirement program starting early 2021. You can also contact your Velocify Account Manager or enter a support ticket if you would like to request an earlier (or specific) date for implementation.
