Encompass TPO Connect Administration Updates - 22.3 Major Release
This section discusses the updates and enhancements to existing forms, features, or services that are provided in this release.
Feature Enhancements
New and Updated Settings
When the Loan Summary Ribbon Custom Fields setting was introduced as part of the Encompass TPO Connect 20.1 May Service Pack release, only standard fields could be configured to be displayed on the ribbon at the top of the Loan Summary page. With this release, custom fields can now be added to the Loan Summary ribbon.
Prior to this release, when the Loan Summary banner was enabled, it was displayed on the Loan Summary page and all the 2019 URLA pages. With this release, the Loan Summary banner can be displayed on all 2020 URLA pages
To Configure a Loan Summary Banner:
- Log into your Encompass TPO Connect Administration page.
- Click the Edit link corresponding to the TPO site you want to configure.
- Select Pages & Links in the left menu.
- Click on the External Pages tab.
- Click the Add External Page button.
- In the Add External Page Link pop up window:
- Enter a Page Name to identify the Loan Summary banner.
- Enter the URL for the external page you want displayed in the Loan Summary banner.
- Select "Loan Summary Banner" as the Render Type.
- Click Create.
A new Require Uploaded Documents to be Attached to a Condition at a Specific Milestone Date setting has been added under Additional Settings. This new setting requires documents uploaded after a certain milestone to be attached to a condition.
Whether this setting is configured or not, a user will always be able to upload a document to the Conditions page. When this setting is configured, it will only impact whether a user can or cannot upload a document to the Documents page.
To Configure a Milestone Date:

Log into your Encompass TPO Connect Administration page.

Select the Edit link corresponding to the TPO site you want to configure.

Select Additional Settings in the left menu.

In the Require Uploaded Documents to be Attached to a Condition at a Specific Milestone Date section, enter a standard or custom date or date/time field ID in the Date Field ID field.

Select Save.

When Save is selected, a validation is performed to ensure a standard or custom date or date/time field ID is entered in the Date Field ID field.
If the configured milestone date on a loan is blank or a future date, the Add Document and Browse for files buttons on the Documents page will be enabled and documents can be uploaded to the Documents page.
If the configured milestone date on a loan is the current date or a past date, the Add Document and Browse for files buttons on the Documents page will be disabled and documents can only be uploaded to the Conditions page.
A new “External Page” option has been added to the Loan Summary Ribbon Custom Fields setting under Additional Settings. This new setting enables you to display an external page in the Loan Summary ribbon in your TPO website.
To Display an External Page in the Loan Summary Ribbon:

Log into your Encompass TPO Connect Administration page.

Click the Edit link corresponding to the TPO site you want to configure.

Select Additional Settings in the left menu.

In the Loan Summary Ribbon Custom Fields section, select "External Page" for the appropriate channel.

Enter the URL (use https://) for the external page you want displayed in the Loan Summary ribbon.

Click Save.
A new “Select the credit providers you want to include in the credit provider drop down” section has been added to the Configure Drop down Menus setting under Additional Settings. This new section enables you to select which credit providers will be available in the credit provider drop down list.
To Select Credit Providers for the Drop Down List:

Log into your Encompass TPO Connect Administration page.

Click the Edit link corresponding to the TPO site you want to configure.

Select Additional Settings in the left menu.

In the Configure Drop Down Menus - Credit Provider section, select the check boxes corresponding to the credit providers you want to display in the credit provider drop down list.

You can select the Select All check box for all the values to be displayed.

Click Save.
Updates to Left Navigation Menus
As part of the Secure Scripting Framework (SSF) updates in the Encompass TPO Connect 19.2 major release, the ability to redirect host pages to standard Encompass TPO Connect pages (e.g., Loan Summary, Documents, and Fees) was added. With this release, the ability to redirect from certain left navigation menu items (e.g., Loan Estimate Fee Management, Documents, and Conditions) to external pages has been added.
Prior to this release, if a left navigation menu label was renamed on the Pages & Links Loan Navigation tab or the URLA 2020 setting, the corresponding page label in the TPO website was not updated with the new name. With this release, the left navigation menu label and the corresponding page label will now both be updated with the new name.
Additional Enhancement
When an Encompass field is hidden or view only (e.g., using a Persona Field Access business rule) and then underwriting is ordered from the Dual AUS page, the Dual AUS validator will display the hidden or view only fields as follows:

Hidden fields - The Field ID, Field Name, and Form columns will be populated with the field’s data but the Field column will display “Hidden Field”.

View Only fields - The Field ID, Field Name, and Form columns will be populated with the field’s data but the Field column will be disabled and no data can be entered or selected.

Fixed Issues
Why we fixed these issues: The following issues were fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass TPO Connect is operating as expected.
This section describes the issues that have been fixed in this release.
An issue occurred where a loan could only be assigned to the child company directly below the parent company. This issue has been resolved and loans can now be assigned to all levels of child branch extensions, when enabled via the Loan Officer and Loan Processor Organization Settings under Additional Settings.
An issue occurred where the Company DBA Name and Branch DBA Name fields on the Personal Account and Company Account tabs on the Manage Account page did not display a value or displayed the wrong value. This issue has been resolved and the following changes have been made to the Personal Account, Company Account and Branches tabs on the Manage Account page:

The Company DBA Name and Branch DBA Name have been removed from the Personal Account tab.

The Branch DBA Name has been removed from the Company Account tab.

The Branch DBA Name has been added to the Branches tab.
An issue occurred where a user received a "Your access to this loan file is limited." warning if a Persona Access to Loans (PAL) business rule applied the "Does Not Apply" access to at least one of the user's personas. This issue has been resolved and the warning now only displays when a PAL business rule applies custom access to at least one of the user's personas.
An issue occurred where the Est Closing Date (field ID 763) field on the custom header displayed a date one day earlier than the date entered for the Est Closing Date (field ID 763) field in the Additional Information section of the URLA. For example, if 09/02/2022 was entered in the URLA, the custom header displayed 09/01/2022. This issue has been resolved and the two Est Closing Date fields now display the same date.
An issue occurred where a generic message “Unknown error occurred. Please contact system administrator." was displayed when a Loan Action Completion business rule with an advanced condition of “[16] = 2” and requiring documents with attachments was triggered. This issue has been resolved and a more specific message listing the missing documents is displayed.
