Fixed Issues for Version 18.2.0.4
This Encompass 18.2 Critical Patch 2 includes updates to users' Encompass client machines.
Why we fixed these issues: These issues were fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass is operating as expected. The issues were chosen to be fixed based on the severity of its impact to clients and client feedback.
Updates to the Encompass Client Machines
The Encompass 18.2 Critical Patch 2 includes the following item, which is a client-side update that is applied to users' Encompass client machines. This client update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
Encompass Forms and Tools
An issue was resolved that caused the Annual Percentage Rate (field ID 799) or Total Interest Percentage (TIP) (field ID LE3.X16) field to revert to its previous value (or to clear if it had previously been blank) after an Encompass user clicked the Lock icon and manually edited one of these field. This issue, which was introduced with the Encompass 18.2 release, has been resolved, and values in these fields are now retained after being manually edited by an Encompass user.

An issue was resolved that caused the borrower and co-borrower Credit Score for Decision Making dropdown fields (field IDs 4177 and 4174) on the HMDA Information
-
Application withdrawn by applicant
-
File closed for incompleteness
-
Preapproval request denied
When an Encompass user clicked the Lock icon for one of the Credit Score for Decision Making dropdown fields, and then clicked the dropdown arrow and tried to select an option from the list, the dropdown options would display for only a brief moment before closing, and the Encompass user was then unable to select an option for the field.
This issue has been resolved and the Credit Score for Decision Making dropdown boxes are now functioning properly.
In some cases, Encompass users may need to click the Credit Score for Decision Making field's dropdown arrow more than once before the options display properly.

Encompass Settings
Using the export and import functionality provided in Encompass business rule settings, administrators can export one or more business rules from an Encompass system (or instance) and then import those business rules into a different Encompass system (or instance). However, an issue was introduced in Encompass 18.2 that prevented exported business rules from being imported. After selecting a business rule that had been exported from an Encompass 18.2 (or later) system, and then clicking the Validate Dependencies button, the following error message was triggered and the import failed:
"Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: source"
This issue has been resolved and this error message is no longer triggered when administrators export business rules from one Encompass 18.2 (or later) system and then import the business rules into a different Encompass 18.2 system.
When administrators are configuring a Persona Access to Fields business rule, they can elect to identify conditions that must be met in the loan file in order for the business rule to trigger. When setting up conditions based on TPO Actions, the list of actions that the administrator can select from was not being displayed correctly. The list was cut off so all of the actions were not displayed (as shown below). This issue has been resolved and this complete list of actions is now displayed correctly.
This issue also occurred, and has been resolved, in Field Data Entry, Persona Access to Loans, and Persona Access to Loan Actions business rule settings.
An issue was introduced in Encompass 18.2 where custom input forms (created in the Encompass Input Form Builder) with a pipe symbol ( | ) in its form name were not being included in input form sets as expected. For example, a form with a name like 2015 Itemization | Branch Version were impacted by this issue due to the pipe symbol ( | ) in the form name. Administrators could add this type of custom input form to an input form set and save it successfully. However, upon returning to the input form set, the portion of the form name after the pipe symbol ( | ) was no longer included in the name. As a result, when a user applied the input form set to a loan, the custom input form was not included, while all of the other forms were. This issue has been resolved and the custom input form will be included in the input form set as expected even if its name includes a pipe symbol ( | ).
An issue occurred for administrators configuring tables of title fees in Encompass Settings. After adding two or more new fees in the Title Fee Details configuration window in the Title setting, administrators discovered that after adding the fees, closing this window, navigating to a different setting, and then returning to the Title setting and re-opening this Title Fee Details window, only the first fee in the list was displayed. All of the other fees previously added had been removed. This issue has been resolved and now all of the fees added in the Title Fee Details configuration windows are retained as expected.
Note that this fix applies only to new fees that are added to the Title Fee Details window(s) in Encompass 18.2.0.4 and later. Fees that were added in earlier versions of Encompass and impacted by this issue will need to be added again in Encompass 18.2.0.4 (or later).
