Feature Enhancements in Version 17.4

After five (5) incorrect login attempts into EPPS (directly or through Encompass), a user’s account will be locked. The user will receive a notification directing them to contact their Client Admin to reset their account.

After sixty (60) minutes, a user has another 5 attempts to log into EPPS.

If a user attempts to log into EPPS (directly or through Encompass) more than 180 calendar days after their last password change, that user’s account will be locked. The user will receive an email and login notifications directing them to reset their password, under their profile, starting 14 calendar days prior to expiration.

If there is no user activity in EPPS for more than fifteen (15) minutes, the user’s session will timeout and they will be redirected to the Login page. Any session exceeding twenty four (24) hours will be terminated, regardless of activity.

To provide Client Admins with more options when creating Rules, the following new Conditions have been added to the Rule Manager.

• Geography

• Program is Virtual

• Target Investor

To Access the Rule Manager

1. Log into EPPS as a Client Admin.

2. Click the Admin menu option, and then click the Rule Manager tab.

Currently, when running a test qualification, only the default lock period can be used. If another lock period is selected, a normal qualification is run.

Only users with Test rights (e.g., Client Admins) can run test qualifications.

This update enables any lock period to be used for a test qualification. When another lock period is selected, the user will be prompted to select the type of qualification to run.

• If the user selects Qualification, a normal qualification is run.
• If the user selects Test, a test qualification is run.
