View a Sample Workflow of the eSigning Process
The Loan Detail page provides important information about your loan and any messages or requests that have been sent by your loan officer (or other loan team member).
For example, your loan officer may send you documents that you need to sign, and then return (for example, the Good Faith Estimate or the Uniform Residential Loan Application). When your loan officer provides the eSign option, you can sign and return the documents electronically without printing any of them. This type of message is labeled Documents to eSign.
Note: The latest version and the preceding version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer web browsers are supported for use with WebCenter site pages. (For example, when the latest version of Internet Explorer is version 11, the preceding version is version 10.)
When you open a Documents to eSign message, a list of the documents included in the message is displayed near the bottom. These are documents that you need to sign and return to your loan officer (for example, the Good Faith Estimate or the Uniform Residential Loan Application).
Note: All documents are in PDF format. Adobe Reader is required to view these files.
If your loan officer has provided the eSigning option, you can review these documents online, and then sign and return the documents electronically (known as eSigning), without printing anything. Your loan officer will receive an email notification when the signed documents are available to them.
Important Tip: Your Authorization Code is different than the password you created yourself that you use to log in to your loan officer's website. Your loan officer is required to create your Authorization Code and then tell you what it is. If your loan officer has not provided you with your Authorization Code, you must contact them to obtain it.
Note: Both the borrower and co-borrower must complete the eSigning process before the documents are automatically sent to your loan officer.
For information about other messages you may receive from your loan officer, refer to the Loan Detail topic.
