Encompass TPO Connect Administration Updates - 23.1 Major Release

To add an additional layer of security to the traditional username and password authentication method, the ability to require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) has been added to Encompass TPO Connect. When enabled, Third Party Originators will be required to enter an authentication code sent via text or phone call.

The following settings must be configured in Encompass before MFA can be implemented for Encompass TPO Connect.

• The Multi-Factor Authentication check box in the Organization section of the Basic Info tab under External Company Setup > Company Details must be selected.

• MFA requires a US phone number to be entered in a user's account (External Company Setup > All TPO Contact Information).

If both the Phone Number and Cell Phone Number fields are blank for a user, and that user attempts to sign in with MFA enabled, a message "Invalid phone number" will be displayed.

A new Custom Loan Navigation Menu setting has been added to the Loan Navigation tab. This setting enables you to use Secure Scripting Framework (SSF) to redirect the left navigation menu to an external page.

A new Custom Main Navigation setting has been added to the Navigation tab. This setting enables you to use SSF to redirect the top navigation menu to an external page.

When your users log into Encompass TPO Connect, they will see the custom top navigation menu.

In addition, when SSF is used to redirect the top navigation menu to an external page, links can be added to the custom top navigation menu that redirect to the following top navigation pages.

• Welcome

• Pipeline

• Esign

• Add New Loan

• Batch Document Upload

• Reporting

• Scenarios

• Trades

• Documents

When custom pages are enabled using SSF, those pages can pass a list of required fields using the Required Fields pop up window.

When an Account Executive user logs into Encompass TPO Connect and a custom Loan Navigation Menu is enabled, the TPO Contacts link moves to the upper right corner of page (next to the Contact Us link) to enable that user to have access to TPO Contacts.

An issue occurred where the Sales Rep of the user who created a loan was assigned as the AE in File Contacts instead of the Sales Rep of the Loan Officer (LO). This issue has been resolved and the correct Sale Rep is now assigned as the Account Executive in the File Contacts.

When there is no LO, the Sales Rep of the Correspondent File Contact (CFC) will be assigned as the AE. When there is no CFC, the Sales Rep of the user creating the loan will be assigned as the AE.

An issue occurred where external Encompass users logged into Encompass TPO Connect could not access an active loan if the Organization Name associated with that loan was modified on the Encompass Company Details Basic Info tab. After the Organization Name was modified and the active loan was opened in Encompass, the Site ID (field ID TPO.X1) on the TPO Information screen was cleared. Once the Site ID was cleared, the active loan was no longer accessible from within Encompass TPO Connect. This issue has been resolved and the Site ID is no longer cleared after an Organization Name is modified and an associated loan is opened.

An issue occurred where the Custom Widget URL Field on the Dashboard Widget tab generated an error message “URL should start with https://.” when a URL that began with “https://” and either included dashes or used “localhost” was entered. This issue has been resolved and a URL with dashes or "localhost" is now accepted and no error is generated.
