Download Documents window

Overview

This topic provides information on the Download Document window and Download Documents window how they uses your browser’s download tool. These windows can be opened from several Simplifile pages.

Open the Download Document(s) window

  1. At the top of the navigation menu, select the Simplifile logo. The Packages page opens in the right panel and the navigation menu highlights the Packages item.
  2. In the navigation window, select Packages. The Packages page opens in the right panel.
  3. If needed, use the Search for packages field to find the wanted package.
  4. In the packages table, select the package name of the package you want. The Package Details page opens in the right panel and the navigation menu changes to display the packages items with the Details item selected.
  5. In the Package Details page Documents table, do the following:
    1. In the left column, mark one or more of the boxes of the documents to be downloaded.
    2. Select the Actions button.
    3. Select Download.

    The Download Document(s) window opens.

NOTE: You man download a document directly from the Package Details page Documents table by selecting the Download Document icon in the Actions column. The document file is downloaded using the browser’s download tool.

Using the Download Document(s) Window

  1.  Open the Download Document(s) window.
  2. In the Documents box section make sure the box is marked and do the following:
    • To download all pages, mark the All Pages option.
    • To download a page range, mark the Page Range option and do the following:
      • To download only the first page, enter “first” (without quotation marks).
      • To download only the last page, enter “last” (without quotation marks).
      • To enter a range of pages, enter the page number of the first page in the wanted range, a hyphen, and the page number of the last page in the wanted range. For example, “11‑13” (without quotation marks).
  3. If you are a Simplifile administrator and want to change the default file format, select the Click here to change the default file name format link. The Change Default File Name Format window opens. For information on using this window, see Change Default File Format window.
  4. In the File Name field, review the file name. If you want, you can change the file name.
  5. In the Download Format section, mark the wanted download format option.
  6. Review the information in the field near the bottom of the window.
  7. Select the Download button.

The documents are downloaded using the browser’s download tool, the Download Documents window closes, and the Packages page is available.
