Setting Up Single Sign-On for Encompass

Your system administrator will create a user profile for you that includes a User ID and Password. Your user profile also contains settings that define access to loan files and the Encompass features and functions you will need to use. When you log in, you will type your User ID and Password.

There are two different log in screens that may be used for Encompass:

  • Encompass Log In Window - This log in window requires the user's user ID, password, and designated Encompass server location. By default, this is the log in screen provided for all users.

  • Web-based Encompass log in screen - This log in screen was introduced in Encompass 20.2. On this Encompass Login screen, users can elect to log in using Single Sign-On (SSO) or log in using their Encompass user ID and password just as they did in previous version of Encompass. This log in screen must be used if your company is using SSO.

The Encompass administrator determines the log in window that is provided to users by selecting an option from the Settings Manger > Client options list in Encompass Admin Tools.
