Fixed Issues for Version 19.2.0.5 Server Patch 5
This Encompass 19.2 June Service Pack Critical Patch 1 includes updates to users' Encompass client machines (19.2.0.5) and a Server Patch (server patch 5) that is applied to the Encompass Server.
Why we fixed these issues: These issues were fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass is operating as expected. These issues were chosen to be fixed based on the severity of its impact to clients and client feedback.
Updates to the Encompass Server (i.e., Server Patch 5)
Below are the updates in the Server Patch that is applied to the Encompass Server. The Server Patch contains the relevant Encompass code that applies to the following fixed issues. The Server Patch included with this release will be applied to the Encompass Server automatically and cannot be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool.
Some users had reported that during the process of applying a loan program template to a new loan or an existing loan, their Encompass system took much longer than normal processing time to display the list of loan program templates that the loan team member could select from to then apply to the loan. The cause of this issue with compiling and displaying the list of templates was identified and the relevant code was addressed to prevent this issue from occurring. The impacted users will now experience much improved performance when they are selecting a template to apply to a loan file.

An issue occurred where the Lock icon for a valid lock incorrectly displayed as “Expired” on the Pipeline when the Commitment Term fields were used. If the Correspondent Commitment Term Settings (Encompass > Settings > Secondary Setup > Lock Desk Setup) was enabled and a date prior to the current date was entered in the Lock Expires (field ID 762) field for a valid Correspondent lock, that prior date caused the Lock icon on the Pipeline to display as “Expired”. In addition, an alert was triggered that indicated the Lock was expired. This issue has been resolved and the correct Lock icon is now displayed when the Commitment Term fields are used and the lock expiration alert is not falsely triggered.

Updates to the Encompass Client Machines
The Encompass 19.2 June Service Pack Critical Patch 1 includes the following items, which are client-side updates that are applied to users' Encompass client machines. This client update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
Electronic Document Management
An issue was resolved that caused slower performance in Encompass due to intermittent system “memory leaks” that resulted from opening multiple files in succession in the Encompass eFolder PDF viewer. The cause of these leaks has been identified and the relevant code has been updated to help prevent them. The reduction of these memory leaks results in improved performance for clients when viewing multiple files in succession in the eFolder.

An issue was resolved that caused the date/time field next to the Cleared checkbox on the Sell Condition Details window in the eFolder to not display when the Cleared checkbox was selected. This issue occurred for personas who had the Sell Conditions Tab checkbox selected on the eFolder tab in the Personas setting but did not have the Add/Edit/Delete Sell Conditions checkbox selected.
This issue has been resolved and the affected personas can now view the date/time stamp for the Cleared status option.

An issue in the eFolder occurred for some customers who utilize Automated Conditions business rules. Administrators can utilize the Automated Conditions tool to create and manage rules that automatically populate conditions to the loan file when the Add Automated Conditions option is selected in the eFolder. When an authorized user selects the Add Automated Conditions option in the eFolder, they can then select from preliminary, underwriting, and post-closing conditions created by the administrator to add to the loan. Starting in the Encompass 19.2.0.4 Server Patch 4 release, when a user visited the Preliminary Conditions, Underwriting Conditions or Post-Closing Conditions tab, and added one or more automated conditions that had previously been added to the loan, the following error was triggered and none of the conditions were added:
"An error occurred. Please contact the administrator with the following information: Index was outside the bounds of the array."
This issue has been resolved. When adding automated conditions to the loan, conditions that were not already added to the loan will be added and any duplicate conditions to be added will not trigger the error and the user can continue with their task.
