Fixed Issues for Version 19.1.0.7
This Encompass 19.1 April Service Pack includes updates to users' Encompass client machines (19.1.0.7).
Why we fixed these issues: These issues were fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass is operating as expected. These issues were chosen to be fixed based on the severity of its impact to clients and client feedback.
Updates to the Encompass Client Machines
The Encompass 19.1 April Service Pack Critical Patch 1 includes the following items, which are client-side updates that are applied to users' Encompass client machines. This client update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
Encompass Forms and Tools
An issue occurred where fields in the Fulfillment section on a disclosure record’s eDisclosure Tracking tab were not being populated after the fulfillment package was sent. Specifically, this Fulfillment field data was missing in these scenarios:
- When a disclosure package (that required eSigning) was sent electronically with the Schedule a Fulfillment Service for this package checkbox selected, a disclosure tracking record was generated in the Disclosure Tracking Tool, the Fulfillment package was sent to the borrower (and the eSign requirement was converted to wet signing), and the borrower failed the authorization process when they attempted to access the package
In this scenario above, all of the fields in the Fulfillment section on the disclosure record’s eDisclosure Tracking tab- except for the Presumed Received Date- were not populating with any fulfillment details.
-
When a disclosure package (that required wet signing) was sent electronically with the Schedule a Fulfillment Service for this package checkbox selected, a disclosure tracking record was generated in the Disclosure Tracking Tool, and the Fulfillment package was sent to the borrower.
- When Informational Only disclosures were sent electronically with the Schedule a Fulfillment Service for this package checkbox selected, a disclosure tracking record was generated in the Disclosure Tracking Tool, and the Fulfillment package was sent to the borrower.
In these two scenarios above, the Fulfilled by, Date/Time Fulfilled, Fulfillment Method, and Presumed Received Date fields were not displaying any fulfillment data.
These issues with the missing Fulfillment field data have been resolved so that users will now have the ability to view the fulfillment data when disclosures requiring eSigning or wet signing are processed through the Ellie Mae Fulfillment Center. Please note that this fix applies to applicable new loans going forward as well as existing loans started in previous versions of Encompass. If you open an existing loan and view an applicable record in the Disclosure Tracking tool, the fulfillment data that was previously missing from the eDisclosure Tracking tab will display as expected.

Encompass Software Development Kit (SDK)
An issue impacting Encompass SDK console applications that utilize cursor objects was introduced in the Encompass 19.1 April Service Pack (19.1.0.6 Server Patch 5). Encompass SDK console applications utilizing Encompass Pipeline or Report cursors were continuing to run and causing the SDK to hang when users attempted to close the program because the cursor objects were still being held. While this issue could occur for any SDK code using Pipeline or Report cursors, the following applications are known to have been impacted:
- Data Warehouse
- Batch Loan Export Utility
- Symitar GL Extract
This issue has been resolved so that SDK applications that include cursor objects no longer cause the SDK program to hang when users attempt to close it, and the applications are closed as expected.
