Services
With this release, Consumer Connect supports the ability to add EPPS custom fields to a loan application workflow. When EPPS is configured as the Product and Pricing service provider and enabled in a workflow, lender administrators can specify up to 10 custom fields to send with the product and pricing order. EPPS will apply the appropriate rate adjustments when conditions are met for rules that use the custom field values.
Consumer Connect loan application workflows support custom fields for the following EPPS tasks:
-
Adjust Final Price
-
Adjust final price by rate
-
Adjust Rate
-
Adjust SRP
-
Adjust SRP by Rate
-
Set Maximum Final Price Displayed
-
Set Maximum Rate Displayed
-
Set Minimum Final Price Displayed
-
Set Minimum Rate Displayed
Requirements: To add an EPPS custom field to a loan application workflow, the field must be configured in Encompass as a Lock Request Additional Field. To apply custom field values to a rate search, your custom fields must be assigned to a condition rule in EPPS. For information about condition rules in EPPS, see the Encompass Product and Pricing Service online help.
New Custom Fields Section in Loan Application Workflow
To support this enhancement, a new Custom Fields section has been added to the Rates area of the loan application workflow. The Custom Fields section is only visible when EPPS is configured as the product and pricing provider and enabled in the workflow.
To add EPPS custom fields to a loan application workflow:
-
Open Loan App Settings for the workflow.
-
Click Rates to display the options and settings for Rates.
-
Click Add Fields.
The Add Fields to Product and Pricing Request window appears.
-
Select a custom field to add to the workflow. You can click the Product and Pricing Additional Fields drop-down menu to view the custom fields that are available.
The fields displayed in the list are configured in Encompass as Lock Request Additional Fields. Fields with an incompatible field type will not be listed.
-
Click Add.
The custom field is displayed in the Rates section. In the following image, four custom fields have been added to the Rates section.
-
Enter a value for the field if needed.
-
Select the Display to Borrower check box to show the field in the loan application. If selected, the field will be displayed as a required field on the Rates page in the application. The values provided by the borrower will be sent with the product and pricing order. Similar to other custom fields, EPPS custom field values are also passed to Encompass with the loan file.
-
Add additional custom fields as needed. When you are finished adding custom fields, save the loan application workflow.
Depending on the field type, you may need to provide a default value for the field. For example, if the field data type is a string and the field is hidden from the borrower, a default value is required.

With this release, lender administrators can add a Google Analytics tracking ID to their borrower widgets, or embedded pages, for SSO and non-SSO sites. By adding a Google Analytics tracking ID, lenders can track the actions a site visitor or borrower takes on their embedded page—such as when they submit a loan application, enter the borrower portal, and more. Lenders can use the data captured by Google Analytics to gauge the effectiveness of the page, configurations, marketing campaigns, and so on.
To support this enhancement, a new Google Analytics Account field is available in the Website Builder tab in the Consumer Connect Admin portal.
This new field is only available for embedded borrower widgets. Support for Google Analytics on regular (or non-embedded) pages was introduced previously with the 20.2 December Service Pack.
