Current Orders

Using the Current Orders screen, you can view appraisal orders received from Encompass users, archive orders, and search for orders. You can also open an appraisal report and send it to the Encompass user.

To View an Appraisal Order:

After logging in, the Appraisal Service displays a list of orders received from Encompass users on the Current Orders page.

  1. Click the My Orders tab, and then click the Current Orders link.
  2. To view an order, click the Review Request or View Details link for the order.
  • Or, click the New Request icon for the order.

ClosedAccept an Order

  1. On the Current Orders page, click the Review Request link or the New Request icon for the order.
  2. Click Accept.
  3. Enter a message (if necessary), and then click Send.
  • The order status changes to Accepted.
  • An email message is sent to the originator telling them the order status.

ClosedSearch for an Order

  1. On the Current Orders page, select a Search By option from the drop-down list.
  2. Enter all or part of a search term (text or numerals) into the blank field.
  3. Click Search.
  • To clear the search term and re-display the entire list of orders, click Clear.

ClosedSort Orders

On the Current Orders page, you can sort orders based on information in the columns. Click a column header to sort all orders in ascending or descending order.

  • Click a column header (for example, Status) to display orders in ascending order based on when the order was completed.

ClosedReject an Order

  1. On the Current Orders page, click the Review Request link or the New Request icon for the order.
  2. Click Reject.
  3. Enter a message (if necessary), and then click Send.
  • The order status changes to Rejected.
  • The order is automatically moved to the Archived Orders page.
  • An email message is sent to the originator telling them the order status.

ClosedPrint an Order

  1. On the Current Orders page, click the View Details link for the order.
  2. Click the Print icon.

ClosedUpdate Order information

  1. On the Current Orders page, click the View Details link for the order.
  2. To update the appraisal Appointment Scheduled date, the Appointment Completed date, the Order Completed date, the Appraised Value, or the Appraisal Fee, enter the data in the appropriate text box.
  3. Click the appropriate Save icon.
  • The data you have changed is updated in the appraisal.
  • When updating the status, value, or fee, an email is sent to your client's Encompass loan origination software, alerting them to the update.
  1. To edit the data, click the Edit icon, enter the new data in the appropriate text box, and click the Save icon.

ClosedSend a Message or Deliver an Appraisal Document and Related Files

After completing the appraisal, you will upload it and deliver it to the originator using Ellie Mae's secure email platform. If you are including a Veros Quick Check report with their completed appraisal, they will be able to view the report along with their appraisal inside their loan file in Encompass. View the Send Messages or Documents topic for instructions for sending completed appraisal reports, sending completed appraisal reports that include a Veros Quick report, and sending messages to the originator.

ClosedView Order History

On the Order Details page, click the View History button to open the Order History page. The Order History page displays a list of activities related to the order, including the date and time when the activity occurred, the persons who initiated and received the action, the type of activity, comments related to the activity, and file attachments associated with the activity. Use this page to view appraisal files or documents that you have sent to the loan originator and vice versa. View the View Order History topic for instructions.

ClosedMove the Order to Completed Orders Page

To help you manage your appraisal orders, you can move completed orders to the Completed Orders tab on the Appraisal Service. Orders remain on the Completed Orders tab for 180 days and are then automatically deleted.

  1. On the Current Orders page, select the check box for the order you want to move.
  2. Click the Complete the Order button.

ClosedArchive an Order

To help you manage your appraisal orders, you can move rejected or incomplete orders to the Archived Orders tab on the Appraisal Service. After being archived, orders remain on the Archived Orders tab for 180 days and are then automatically deleted.

  1. On the Current Orders page, select the check box for the order you want to archive.
  2. Click the Archive button.
  • You can move an archived order back to the Current Orders page at any time during the 180-day span. From the Archived Orders page, select the check box for the order you want to move, and then click the Move to Current Orders button.

ClosedRefresh the Current Orders List

  • Click the Refresh icon to refresh the Current Orders list and view your most recent orders.

ClosedExport the Current Orders List to Excel

  • Click the Export to Excel icon to open and save your Current Orders list as an Excel spreadsheet.

ClosedPrint the Current Orders List

  • Click the Print icon to print your Current Orders list.
