Feature Enhancements in Version 23.1

Four new expressions, ConfLimit1, DateAfter, DateBefore, and HiBalLimit1, have been added to the Condition Definition and Matrix Definition pages.

• The ConfLimit1 expression retrieves the one-unit GSE General Conforming Limit from the Loan Limits Table based on the property’s zip code.

• The DateAfter expression is “True” if the current date is after the given date.

• The DateBefore expression is “True” if the current date is before the given date.

• The HiBalLimit1 expression retrieves the one-unit GSE High Balance Limit from the Loan Limits Table based on the property’s county.

Three expressions, LockType, ProgramChange, and LoanChannel, have been removed from the Condition Definition page.

A new Geography column has been added to the Select Columns pop up window on the Rule Manager listing page to enable the page to be sorted and viewed by geography.

Two new columns, Alt Lender and BuyDown Types, have been added to the Select Columns pop up window on the Custom Programs listing page to enable the page to be sorted and viewed by Alt Lenders and/or BuyDown Types.

The Alt Lender column will not be available for use until a future release of EPPS.

In addition, two new filters, BuyDown Types and Prepay Terms have been added to the Custom Programs listing page. When selecting one of the new filters, a list of options will be displayed. Select the appropriate options and then select add.

The Max Loan definition in the legend at the bottom of the Guideline definition page has been updated.

The new definition is “Max Loan: Optional. The maximum loan amount allowed for this Guideline row.”

Two new columns, NP and PC, have been added to the Guidelines listing page.

• The NP column is the number of existing Test and Development versions.

• The PC column is the number of existing Production versions.

Currently in EPPS, the military entitlement total in field ID FExx53 (excluding base pay and other allowances) on the Encompass 1003 URLA Part 2 Calculate Military Entitlements pop up window is not included in the Annual Income field on the Finances tab in EPPS. In this release, the Annual Income field has been updated to include the Encompass military entitlement total in field ID FExx53.

Currently in EPPS, if a custom field contains a value that is identical to an expression, for example “VA”, the Rule Manager replaces the custom field value with the expression’s value and the rule does not work correctly. In this release, the Rule Manager has been updated to no longer replace custom field values with expression values.

Currently in EPPS, all special products are grouped together in the same Best Ex results. In this release, the Best Ex results have been updated to list special products separately, similar to loan terms and standard products.

Currently in EPPS, the Total Other Asset Amount (field ID URLA.X54) on the Encompass 1003 URLA Part 3 screen is not included in the Liquid Assets field on the Finances tab in EPPS when Get Pricing is performed. In this release, the Liquid Assets field has been updated to include the Encompass Total Other Assets Amount.

As part of the Encompass 23.1 major release, the zip code database and county table will be updated. To maintain consistency between Encompass and EPPS, the same updates that will be made in Encompass will be made in EPPS.

• For new zip codes, the associated county will be added to the county table.

• For deleted zip codes, the associated county will be removed from the county table.

• For county names that do not match between Encompass and EPPS, the Encompass version will be added to the county table.
