The entry INDIANA: Periodic Interest Accrual Prohibition WARNING Status Message Replaced with PASS Status Message was updated to reflect the following changes: 

Before

ECS has been updated to include a new pass status message for users who submit an Indiana Junior-Lien loan without periodic interest accrual methods, replacing the previous warning status message. The WARNING status message has been removed.

After

ECS has been updated to provide a PASS message for Indiana Junior-Lien loans that do not use the 30/360 interest accrual method, which is prohibited by Indiana DFI regulation as of July 1, 2020. When a user sets the Interest Days/Days in a Year field (1962) to 365/365 and selects the Use Simple Interest Accrual checkbox (4749), it confirms that the loan will not use the 30/360 method, indicating that the loan aligns with the regulation. The change affects the handling of periodic interest accrual methods for Indiana Junior-Lien loans. The previous WARNING status message has been removed, and the PASS message will be displayed instead.
