View a Sample Workflow of Sending Documents to the Loan Originator
The Loan Detail page provides important information about your loan and any messages or requests that have been sent by your loan originator.
For example, your loan originator may send you documents that you need to provide to them (for example, tax returns, bank statements, or pay stubs). This type of message is labeled Documents Needed for Your Loan.
To View a Message
- On the Loan Detail page, click the plus symbol next to the message in the My Tasks section. When you click the plus symbol, the content of the message is displayed.
- The subject of the listed task can be customized by your loan officer, but Electronic Loan Document Request is a common example.
- Click the plus symbol again to hide the content of the message.
Documents Needed for Your Loan
When you open a Documents Needed for Your Loan message, a list of the documents included in the message is displayed near the bottom. These are documents that you need to send to your loan originator (for example, tax returns, bank statements, or pay stubs).
You have several options for returning the documents to your loan originator:
Fax Needed Documents
You can send documents via fax using the fax cover sheet provided in the Documents Needed for Your Loan message.
Note: The fax cover sheet is in PDF format. Adobe Reader is required to view the cover sheet.
- After opening the message, click the Fax button.
- The fax cover sheet is displayed.
- Click the Print icon.

Note: The PDF icons (including the Print icon) may not display when using the Google Chrome web browser to view the documents.
- Select your printer settings and then click OK to print the fax cover sheet.
- Fax the documents, along with the fax cover sheet, to the number provided on the fax cover sheet.
Upload Needed Documents to WebCenter Website
If you have a scanner, you can scan the documents, save them to your computer, and then upload them to the WebCenter website. Or, if you have already downloaded or saved a document to your computer through a different method, you can upload that document as well.
- After opening the message, click the Upload button.
- Click the Browse button, select the file, and then click Open.
- Repeat these steps to add additional files.
- To upload the files to the WebCenter website, click the Upload button.
- Once uploaded, your loan originator is notified via email that the documents are ready for their review.
Return Needed Documents via US Postal Service or Mail Delivery Company
- After opening the message, review the list of documents that are being requested.
- Send the documents to your loan originator using the US Postal Service or mail delivery company.
