Events in the Encompass Title Center can trigger email notifications to the title company or the loan originator who placed the order. The list below describes the different types of email notifications, the event that triggers the notification, and whether the notification is sent to the loan originator or the title company. Examples of each notification type are shown in the Encompass Title Center Email Notification document.
- Account Created (Yearly Subscription) – When a title company creates an account with the Encompass Title Center and selects one of the yearly subscription options, a confirmation email is sent to the title company. The email includes a link to the Encompass Title Center and details of the subscription.
- Account Created (Pay As You Go) – When a title company creates an account with the Encompass Title Center and selects the Pay As You Go subscription option, a confirmation email is sent to the title company. The email includes a link to the Encompass Title Center and details about the account.
- Account Activation – When a title company creates an Encompass Title Center account, an email notification with a link for activating the account is sent to the title company.
- Password Recovery – When a title agent clicks the Forgot Password? link on the Encompass Title Center login page, an email with a link for resetting the password is sent to the title company.
- Client ID Recovery – When a title agent clicks the Forgot your Client ID? link on the Encompass Title Center login page, an email with the title company’s Encompass Title Center client ID is sent to the agent.
- Order Submitted to a Title Agent with an Encompass Title Center Account – When a new title order is submitted to a title agent who has an Encompass Title Center account, an email notification is sent to the title agent with a link to the order on the Encompass Title Center.

Order Submitted to a Title Agent with No Encompass Title Center Account – When a title order is sent to a title agent who does not have an Encompass Title Center account, an email is sent to the agent. The email includes a link that the agent clicks to create an Encompass Title Center account.
- Order Accepted or Rejected by a Title Agent with an Encompass Title Center Account – When a title agent who has an Encompass Title Center account accepts or rejects a title order, an email notification is sent to the loan originator who submitted the order. The email also includes any comments from the title agent.
- Order Accepted or Rejected by a Title Agent with No Encompass Title Center Account – When a title agent who does not have an Encompass Title Center account accepts or rejects a title order, an email notification is sent to the title agent to confirm the action.

Documents Uploaded – When a title agent uploads a document to the Encompass Title Center, an email notification is sent to the loan originator who submitted the title request. The email includes any comments entered by the title agent.
- Title Agent Comments Uploaded - When a title agent uploads a comment to the Encompass Title Center without uploading a document, an email notification containing the comment is sent to the loan originator who submitted the title request.
- Fees Entered (2010 RESPA Only) – When a title agent uploads title fees to the Encompass Title Center for a loan that is using the 2010 RESPA forms, an email notification is sent to the loan originator who submitted the title request. The email includes instructions for accessing the fees in Encompass.
- Preliminary Information Data Entered (2015 RESPA Only) – When a title agent uploads preliminary information to the Encompass Title Center for a loan that is using the 2015 RESPA forms, an email notification is sent to the loan originator who submitted the title request. The email includes instructions for accessing the data in Encompass.
- Summary of Transaction Fees Entered (2015 RESPA Only) – When a title agent uploads fees from the Summary of Transaction page to the Encompass Title Center for a loan that is using the 2010 RESPA forms, an email notification is sent to the loan originator who submitted the title request. The email includes instructions for accessing the fees in Encompass.
- Title/Recording Fees Entered (2015 RESPA Only) – When a title agent uploads title and recording fees to the Encompass Title Center for a loan that is using the 2010 RESPA forms, an email notification is sent to the loan originator who submitted the title request. The email includes instructions for accessing the fees in Encompass.

Loan Originator Comments Added – When a loan originator saves a comment for the title company in the Title Order Status window in Encompass, an email is sent to the title company contact. The email includes the borrower name, the comment, and a link to the encompass title center.
- Company Directory Invitation to a Title Agent with a Title Center Account (Agent-Paid) – When a title company invites a title agent with an Encompass Title Center account to be listed on the title company’s directory on the Encompass Title Center (with the title company paying for the title orders), an email is sent to the title agent. The email includes a link that the agent clicks to respond to the request.
- Company Directory Invitation to a Title Agent with a Title Center Account (Company-Paid) – When a title company invites a title agent to be listed on the title company’s directory in the Encompass Title Center (with the title company paying for the title orders), an email is sent to the title agent. - Company Directory Invitation to a Title Agent with No Title Center Account (Agent-Paid) – When a title company invites a title agent who does not have an Encompass Title Center account to be listed on the title company’s directory in the Encompass Title Center (with the agent paying for the title orders through his or her own Encompass Title Center account), an email is sent to the title agent. The email includes a link that the agent clicks to create an Encompass Title Center account.
- Company Directory Invitation to a Title Agent with No Title Center Account (Company-Paid) – When a title company invites a title agent who does not have an Encompass Title Center account to be listed on the title company’s directory in the Encompass Title Center (with the title company paying for the title orders), an email is sent to the title agent. The email includes a list of the orders that are being reassigned, and a link to the Encompass Title Center.

Company No Longer Pays Title Fees for an Unconfirmed Agent – When a title company changes the Title Order Fees option from Company Pays Order Fees to Agent Pays Title Order Fees for an unconfirmed agent in the company’s Encompass Title Center directory, an email is sent to the agent. The email informs the agent that the title company will no longer pay the agent’s fees and includes a link to the Encompass Title Center, where the agent can create an account in order to pay for and continue receiving orders.
