Package Import/Export

Similar to the Form Import/Export option, the Form Builder's packaging capabilities allow for the creation of a single package file (with the .empkg extension) which can contain multiple custom forms as well as all of the supporting codebase assemblies and custom field definitions that they utilize.

Packaging allows a set of forms and all of their dependencies to be bundled together into a single unit of distribution, ensuring consistency between the source and target Encompass360 systems. Once you have created a form package on the source system, it can be physically transferred to another Encompass360 system and imported using the Form Builder's Package Import Wizard. Using this technique, third-party or contract service providers can author custom forms without requiring direct access to your Encompass360 system. By delivering a package file to you, you can be assured that you are receiving a consistent, up-to-date version of all aspects of the forms.
