Moving Controls

There are various methods for positioning controls on the workspace, including:

• Using your mouse to select the control and drag it to the desired location.
• Entering X and Y values for the Position property.

To Drag a Control to a Location:

• Click  the control on the workspace, and then drag it to the desired location.

To Define the Position Property:

The Position property controls the relative position (in pixels) of a control on the form. The X value determines left to right, the Y value determines top to bottom position.

1. Click  the control on the workspace.
2. Click the Position property and type values or expand the row to view the X and Y properties and make your changes.
