Print Documents window

Overview

This topic provides information on how to use the Print Document window and the Print Documents window and it uses your browser’s print tool. These windows can be opened from several Simplifile pages.

Open the Print Document(s) window

  1. At the top of the navigation menu, select the Simplifile logo. The Packages page opens in the right panel and the navigation menu highlights the Packages item.
  2. In the navigation menu, select Packages. The Packages page opens in the right panel.
  3. In the Package page table in the Package column, select the package name of the package that contains the document you want to print. The Package Details page opens and the contents in the navigation menu changes to display the packages items with Details selected.
  4. In the Package Details page Documents table, mark the document you want print and select the Actions button.
  5. Select the Print item. The Print Package window opens.

Other ways to open the Print Document(s) window:

  • Select the Download icon on the Packages page package table rows.
  • Select the Download item in the Packages page Actions button.

QUICK TIP: You can print a document directly from the Package Details page Documents table without accessing the Print Document window. In the Actions column of the document you want, select the Download Document icon . The selected document is downloaded using the browser’s file download tool. Several browsers display the downloaded document in the bottom left corner of the browser.

Print using the Print Document(s) Window

  1. Open the Print Document(s) window.
  2. In the Print Method section, mark the User browser print tool option.
  3. In the Documents section, make sure the box is marked and do the following:
    • To print all pages, mark the All Pages option.
    • To print a page range, mark the Page Range option and do the following:
      • To print only the first page, enter “first” (without quotation marks).
      • To print only the last page, enter “last” (without quotation marks).
      • To enter a range of pages to print, enter the page number of the first page in the wanted range, a hyphen, and the page number of the last page in the wanted range. For example, “11‑13” (without quotation marks).
  4. Review the information in the field near the bottom of the window.
  5. Select the Print button. The Print Packages window closes and the browser’s print tool window opens.
  6. Print the packages using the browser’s print tool.
