My Simplifile Toolbar

The My Simplifile Toolbar contains the Package Search bar on every page, tools and settings related to the Simplifile application page, product help resources, and tools and settings related to your Simplifile user account settings. It is located in the upper-right corner of each page.

  • The Search for Packages button opens the Search for Packages field.

My Simplifile toolbary Page Settings icon Enabled Chime / Disable Chime button Disabled Chime

  • The Chime button enables or disables a chime that plays when a package is returned by the recording county (or jurisdiction). This button is unique to the Packages page.

    Disable Chimes Disable Chimes button (speaker with sound waves) button - When the My Simplifile toolbary Page Settings icon button is displayed, the chime is currently enabled. Selecting the button disables the chime and the button changes to Disable Chime button indicating the chime is disabled.

    Enable Chimes Chime Disabled button (speaker without sound waves) button - When the Disable Chime button button is displayed, the chime is currently disabled. Selecting the button enables the chime and the button changes to My Simplifile toolbary Page Settings icon indicating the chime is enabled.

  • The Page Settings button opens a window containing page-specific settings. Pages that do not have such settings will not include this button.

My Simplifile Toolbar Help button Help

The Help button displays menu of tools that help you learn about Simplifile's features, as well as requested help from our Support team by phone or chat.

  • About This Page - Opens a new tab with the page-specific help topic describing the page you are currently viewing. (This item is only displayed if the page is linked to the associated documentation topic.)
  • Documentation - Opens a new tab with the applicable Simplifile user guide displayed.
  • Resource Center - Opens a new tab with the Simplifile Resource Center. (This takes up to a minute to open.) Using this tool you can check on the status of your open help cases.
  • Contact Us - Opens the Contact Customer Support window which is used to help you contact the appropriate people on our Support team.
  • Quick Start Guide - Opens the applicable Simplifile user guide with the Basic Simplifile eSubmission process topic displayed which summarizes or our more extensive user guide.
  • Release Notes - Opens the applicable Simplifile user guide with the Simplifile Release Notes topic displayed that summarizes the changes we have made in previous monthly releases.
  • Videos - Goes to the Simplifile application's Videos page which is a collection of training videos links to the Document Builder videos and the Submitter videos that help you understand the Simplifile application and eRecording in general.

The User tools button contains links to various pages that allow you to configure your user account, as well as logout at the end of your session.

  • Profile - Opens the My Settings page.
  • Roles - Opens the My Roles page.
  • Notifications - Opens the My Notifications page.
  • Notary - Opens the Notary Setup page.
  • Signature - Opens the Click-Sign Signatures page (if your user account has the associated role).
  • Utilities - Opens
  • Logout - Logs out of Simplifile
