Feature Enhancements in Version 21.4.0.4 (Banker Edition)
This section discusses the updates and enhancements to existing forms, features, services, or settings that are provided in this release.
Update to Encompass Settings
Two new columns, Account and Login, have been added to the Members tab in the User Groups setting to indicate the Encompass account status and login status of each member of the selected group. This enhancement enables administrators to quickly see which users are enabled to use Encompass and are enabled to log into Encompass. As well as which users have user accounts that have been disabled or are not permitted to log into Encompass. With this information provided here, administrators can determine whether members of user groups are still enabled users (but cannot log into Encompass) or whether they are disabled. The disabled users could then be removed from the group, which may lead to certain user groups no longer being needed.
In previous versions of Encompass, this user information was only provided in the Company/User Setup > Organization/Users setting. By adding these status columns to the User Groups Members tab, administrators now have the information they need in a single view and can better manage their user groups without toggling back and forth between the User Groups setting and the Organization/Users setting.
To sort the Members tab by column data, click a column header to sort the data in ascending order. Click the column header again to sort the data in descending order.
Encompass administrators can now only enable the Allow “Hybrid with eNote” Closing option in Encompass Admin Tools once their company has been completely onboarded and set up with Encompass eClose.
The Allow "Hybrid with eNote" Closing setting in the Encompass Admin Tools is used to control when Encompass users can see promissory note options for eNote or Paper Note when selecting a closing type from the eClose window within loan files. When Disabled (the default setting) is selected, these options are not visible to the user. Beginning with the Encompass 21.4.0.4 release, the Encompass system now checks the onboarding status of the administrator’s Encompass instance before allowing them to enable this Allow "Hybrid with eNote" Closing setting. If the administrator’s system has not been successfully set up for Encompass eClose, they will receive the following message when they change the setting from Disabled to Enabled and the setting will be returned to the Disabled state:
In order to enable eClose with eNotes, please complete the onboarding process for eClose eVault.
If the administrator’s instance has already been successfully onboarded and set up for Encompass eClose, the administrator can successfully change the setting from Disabled to Enabled and no messaging is displayed.
This update for this setting will be in effect going forward. It does not impact existing selections made for this setting in previous versions of Encompass.
