Fixed Issues for Version 21.4.0.5(Broker Edition)
This section describes the issues that have been fixed in this release.
Why we fixed this issue: This issue was fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass is operating as expected. This issue was chosen to be fixed based on the severity of its impact to clients and client feedback.
Updates to the Encompass Client Machines
The 21.4 February Service Pack Critical Patch 1 release includes the following items, which are client-side updates that are applied to users' Encompass client machines (21.4.0.5). This client update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
An issue was resolved with mortgage or HELOC Verification of Liability (VOL) records that were added to a loan file and marked as Will be paid off. If the VOL was then attached to the Verification of Mortgage (VOM) for the subject property, the payoff amount was populated in the Existing Liens to be Paid Off (field ID 26) but was not cleared from the Credit Cards and Other Debts Paid Off (field ID URLA.X145). This caused the payoff amount to be included twice in the Total Due from Borrower (fields ID 1073) and Cash to Borrower (field ID 142). this issue has been resolved.
When a VOM is deleted in the scenario described above, Encompass includes the payoff amount in the Credit Cards and Other Debts Paid Off (field ID URLA.X145) and clears the Existing Liens to be Paid Off (field ID 26).
Workaround Description:
The following workaround was provided for this production issue and is no longer required for Encompass 21.4.0.5 and later.
-
Open the Verification of Liabilities record.
-
Clear the Will be Paid off checkbox, and then select it again.
CBIZ-44535, CBIZ-44591
An issue was reported when merging all pages of a file (source file) into another file (target file) by dragging and dropping the thumbnail images within the New Document Viewer. The source file would be deleted due to all pages being moved, but would reappear later. This issue has been resolved. The source file now remains deleted, and all pages moved from the source file now display in the target file.
DOCP-36807
An issue was introduced in the Encompass 21.4 February Service Pack (21.4.0.4) that resulted in an Access denied message being displayed within the Customization Reporting tool on the Encompass Home page. As a result, authorized users were not able to access tool. This issue has been resolved and authorized users can once again use this tool to review the custom code used in custom forms, the advanced code used in business rules and custom fields, as well as the plugins currently in use with Encompass.
