Fixed Issues for Encompass 21.1 Critical Patch (Broker Edition)
This section describes the issues that have been fixed in this release.
This Encompass 21.1 Critical Patch release includes the following updates. These updates will be applied to all Encompass 21.1 systems automatically and cannot be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool.
Why we fixed these issues: This issue was fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass is operating as expected. This issue was chosen to be fixed based on the severity of its impact to clients and client feedback.
Electronic Document Management
An issue was resolved that caused the following error message to display for customers using the new eFolder document viewer when previewing one or more eFolder files with a size exceeding 50 MBs:
The file is damaged and could not be repaired.
The error message displayed when a user right-clicked one or more documents in the eFolder, clicked Print Document, selected Print attached files, clicked OK, selected the documents, and then clicked Preview. This issue has been resolved, and file selections larger than 50 MB now display correctly in the print Preview window.
Workaround Information:
The following workarounds were provided for this production issue and are no longer required after this update is applied.

Split the file into multiple files smaller than 50 MB.

Preview multiple files in batches that are smaller than 50 MB.
DOCP-21044
An issue was resolved that caused files returned from Freddie Mac LPA (Loan Product Advisor) to not display correctly in the new eFolder document viewer for loans using the new URLA forms. This included text overlapping, and images that were missing or illegible. These issues have been resolved and files returned from Freddie Mac LPA now display correctly in the new document viewer.
Workaround Information:
The following workaround was provided for this production issue and is no longer required after this update is applied.
- Click the View in Original Format button in the document viewer.
DOCP-20300
An issue was resolved that caused files returned from Freddie Mac LPA (Loan Product Advisor) to not display correctly in the new eFolder document viewer for loans using the new URLA forms. The right side of the document was cut off and was not displaying in the viewer.
This issue has been resolved and Freddie Mac LPA files now display correctly in the new document viewer.
