Fixed Issues for Version 21.1.0.8 (Banker Edition)
This section describes the issues that have been fixed in this release.
This Encompass 21.1 April Service Pack Critical Patch 4 release includes an update to users' Encompass client machines (21.1.0.8).
Why we fixed these issues: This issue was fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass is operating as expected. This issue was chosen to be fixed based on the severity of its impact to clients and client feedback.
Updates to the Encompass Client Machines
The Encompass 21.1 April Service Pack Critical Patch 4 release includes the following items, which are client-side updates that are applied to users' Encompass client machines. This client update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
Field Triggers Business Rules
An issue occurred with Field Triggers business rules set up with Advanced Code designed to select (or clear) the No Co-Applicant checkbox (field 3840) when the rule was triggered. The issue was that the No Co-Applicant checkbox for the wrong borrower pair in the loan was being selected when the rule was triggered. For example, when the rule was triggered, the No Co-Applicant checkbox for the first borrower pair was selected, but the rule was designed to select the checkbox for the second borrower pair.
This issue has been resolved and these business rules are now operating correctly.
Workaround Information:
The following workaround was provided for this production issue and is no longer required for Encompass 21.1.0.8 and later:
User has to reorder the Advanced Code logic based on the borrower pair index in descending order. For example, if you have the following code:
If [4006#1] = "" then
[3840#1] = "Y"
else
[3840#1] = ""
End If
If [4006#2] = "" then
[3840#2] = "Y"
Else
[3840#2] = ""
End If
Then you would move the code for borrower pair #2 higher in the pair index like this:
If [4006#2] = "" then
[3840#2] = "Y"
Else
[3840#2] = ""
End If
If [4006#1] = "" then
[3840#1] = "Y"
else
[3840#1] = ""
End If
