Fixed Issues for Version 20.2.0.6 Server Patch 4
This Encompass 20.2 January Service Pack Critical Patch includes updates to the Encompass Server (server patch 4).
Why we fixed this issue: This issue was fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass is operating as expected. The issue was chosen to be fixed based on the severity of its impact to clients and client feedback.
Updates to the Encompass Server
Below are updates in the Server Patch (server patch 4) that is applied to the Encompass Server. The Server Patch contains the relevant Encompass code that applies to the following feature update. The Server Patch included with this release will be applied to the Encompass Server automatically and cannot be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. There is no action required for Encompass administrators or users to receive this update.
Fixed Issues
Using the Audit Trail tool, users can view and export a history of changes made to selected fields in the loan file. Each time one of the fields is changed (and the loan file is saved), a record is created in the audit trail for that field. An issue was introduced in the Encompass 20.2 January Service Pack release that caused the Audit Trail tool to stop displaying updated field data correctly. Encompass users were no longer able to view audit trail data associated with date fields that had been modified after the server patch included with the Encompass 20.2 January Service Pack release was applied to their systems. Instead of displaying the new field value in the Audit Trail tool, the value field for these fields displayed as blank. This issue occurred for all users, even if they had not yet applied the client-side updates provided in the 20.2 January Service Pack release.
This issue has been resolved and the Audit Trail is now displaying the most current field values as expected.
