Fixed Issues for Version 20.2.0.3 (Broker Version)
This Encompass 20.2 Critical Patch 3 includes updates to users' Encompass client machines (20.2.0.3).
Why we fixed this issue: This issue was fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass is operating as expected. The issue was chosen to be fixed based on the severity of its impact to clients and client feedback.
Updates to the Encompass Client Machines
The Encompass 20.2 Critical Patch 3 includes the following items, which are client-side updates that are applied to users' Encompass client machines. This client update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
Fixed Issues
An issue was introduced in Encompass 20.2 in the Disclosure Tracking Tool where the Closing Disclosure (CD) was not being indicated as Sent in the Disclosure History table even after it was printed, previewed or sent with closing documents. In the Disclosure History table, the CD Sent? field was indicated as No.
This issue occurred with the CD when its name in the Encompass Settings > eFolder Setup > Documents tool was changed to anything other than the default name provided for it by Encompass. This issue has been resolved and the CD is now indicated as Sent correctly in the Disclosure Tracking Tool regardless of the name chosen for the CD in the Documents tool.
Please note that this update will not fix existing loans with this issue. It is effective only after upgrading to Encompass 20.2.0.3 and then the CD is newly printed, previewed, or printed. To address this issue for loans already impacted in earlier versions, re-order the CD (or print or preview the CD and then add it to the Disclosure History table) after upgrading to Encompass 20.2.0.3.
