Fixed Issues for Version 20.1.0.7
This Encompass 20.1 May Service Pack Critical Patch 1 includes updates to users' Encompass client machines (20.1.0.7).
Why we fixed this issue: This issue was fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass is operating as expected. The issue was chosen to be fixed based on the severity of its impact to clients and client feedback.
Updates to the Encompass Client Machines
The Encompass 20.1 May Service Pack Critical Patch 1 includes the following items, which are client-side updates that are applied to users' Encompass client machines. This client update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
Fixed Issues
An issue related to Encompass log in passwords was introduced in the Encompass 20.1 May Service Pack (20.1.0.6 Server Patch 5). After upgrading to 20.1.0.6 Server Patch 5, some users received the following Application Error when they opened the eFolder and attempted to use the eConsent options, retrieve eDisclosures, or send eDisclosures:
Application Error
An error occurred. Please contact the administrator with the following information: Invalid User Password.
This same error message was also returned for these users when they attempted to run the Compliance Review feature.
This issue has been resolved. Please note, if you received this error message in the prior Encompass release, you must upgrade to Encompass 20.1.0.7, and then change your Encompass log in password. Once your password is updated, you can then use the eFolder and the Compliance Review tool as expected and not receive the Application Error.

(Updated on 5/19/2020)
An issue was resolved that caused an Unhandled Exception error to display when a user opened a document in an application other than Encompass (for example in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat) and then used the Encompass eFolder in the Print menu to add the document to the eFolder for a loan. The error message displayed only when the Borrower Last Name field was used to filter loans on the Encompass eFolder Loan List window, which displays during the workflow for printing to the Encompass eFolder.
The issue, which was introduced with the Encompass 20.1 May Service Pack release, has been resolved and the error message no longer displays.
Workaround Information:
The following workaround was provided for this production issue and is no longer required for Encompass 20.1.0.7 and later:
Filter using the loan number or leave the filter fields blank and select the loan from the list of all the available loans.
