Fixed Issues for 20.1.0.15 Server Patch 11 (Broker Edition)
Why we fixed this issue: This issue was fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass is operating as expected. The issue was chosen to be fixed based on the severity of its impact to clients and client feedback.
Updates to the Encompass Server (i.e., Server Patch 11)
Below are updates in the Server Patch (server patch 11) that is applied to the Encompass Server. The Server Patch contains the relevant Encompass code that applies to the following feature enhancement. The Server Patch included with this release will be applied to the Encompass Server automatically and cannot be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool.
Encompass System Updates
Some users reported that it was taking significantly longer than expected to move loan files from one folder to another after upgrading to Encompass 20.1.0.14 Server Patch 10. When loans were being moved, their Encompass system performance became much slower and time out errors could occur. This issue has been resolved and Encompass system performance is no longer significantly impacted during loan moves.

Clients experienced an issue where they received Application errors in Encompass (like this example below) due to system timeouts. The cause of this issue was identified and updates have been made to resolve this issue.

Update to the Encompass Server
(i.e., Server Patch 11) and Client Machines (20.1.0.15)
The Encompass 20.1 September Service Pack Critical Patch 2 release includes the following item. In order for this item to be fully integrated into your Encompass system, both the Server Patch and the client-side update provided with this release must be applied. The Server Patch included with this release is applied to the Encompass Server automatically and cannot be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. The client-side update in this release can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply client-side updates to users’ computers automatically, users will receive the client-side updates upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
Again, the item listed below will not be fully implemented until both the Server Patch and the client-side updates are applied to your Encompass system.
Update for NMLS Reports
An update to the Encompass NMLS reporting feature is being provided in this release that will enable the report to be generated for the record size data sets that are being seen this quarter. Some users reported receiving ‘System.OutOfMemoryException’ errors when attempting to run an NMLS report in earlier versions of Encompass. This issue has been resolved so that these errors are no longer triggered when running NMLS reports for large data sets.

Updates to the Encompass Client Machines
The Encompass 20.1 September Service Pack Critical Patch 2 includes the following item, which is a client-side update that is applied to users' Encompass client machines. This client update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
Encompass Forms and Tools
An issue was resolved that caused errors to occur when printing forms listed in the Conditions Forms category in the Print window in Encompass. This issue has been resolved and the forms are now printing as expected.
