Updates to the Encompass Client Machines
The Encompass 18.4 January Service Pack includes the following new features, which are client-side updates that are applied to users' Encompass client machines. This client update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
Three New HMDA Data Sheets Now Available to Print
Three new HMDA Data Sheets are now available to print from the Print window in Encompass. The forms are provided as follows.
- For Adverse Action loans – HMDA Data Sheet – Adverse Action Loans
- For Purchased loans – HMDA Data Sheet – Purchased Loan
- For Originated (Closed) loans – HMDA Data Sheet – Originated (Closed) Loan
These data sheets provide the HMDA data for each of these loan types.
To access and print one or more of these forms in Encompass, click the Print icon from a loan file or Pipeline view, click the Standard Forms tab, and then select General Forms from the Look In dropdown list. Locate the form in the list and then click Add to move it to the Selected Forms list. Use the buttons at the bottom of the window to print or manage the form.
Please note the following:

These data sheets are for use with loans where the application taken and loan disposition occurred in 2018 and later. (In other words, these data sheets do not include any lingering Government Monitoring Information from 2017).

In the case where you have a single borrower/applicant in Borrower Pair #1, and the co-borrower/co-applicant is pulling from Borrower Pair #2, you will need to generate separate data sheets.

These data sheets feature a watermark for “internal use only” to assist in preventing these from being provided to consumers or others who should not have access to the non-public information contained in these data sheets. These were designed for internal use in scrubbing HMDA data or for providing reported information to an investor or purchaser, as applicable.
