Fixed Issues in Version 24.3 Critical Patch 2

Update to the Encompass Server (i.e., Server Patch 3) and Client Machines (24.3.0.4)
The Encompass 24.3.0.4 Server Patch 3 release includes the following update. In order for this item to be fully integrated into your Encompass system, both the Server Patch and the client-side update provided with this release must be applied. The Server Patch included with this release is applied to the Encompass Server automatically and cannot be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. The client-side update in this release can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply client-side updates to users’ computers automatically, users will receive the client-side updates upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
Again, the item listed below will not be fully implemented until both the Server Patch and the client-side updates are applied to your Encompass system.
Some users experienced intermittent issues when working with eDisclosures in the Encompass eFolder. After opening the eFolder and then attempting to complete any of the following actions with eDisclosures, Encompass would crash, the application would close down, and the eDisclosure action would not be completed:

The cause of this issue was identified and addressed. This issue has been resolved and Encompass is no longer crashing in these scenarios.
To ensure that this fix works properly for users who were impacted by this issue, the Remove UAC feature must be run on each computer running Encompass in your company after the upgrade to Encompass 24.3.0.4 Server Patch 3. After upgrading, follow the steps below to run RemoveUAC.
To Run RemoveUAC:
- Right-click the Encompass icon on your computer desktop and then click Properties.
- Click Open File Location.
- Double-click RemoveUAC.exe.
- When the Smart Client window opens, select all the checkboxes, and then click Remove.
- Double-click the Encompass icon on your computer desktop to start Encompass, and then log in. When Encompass starts, the appropriate dll file will be replaced and the fix will be installed.
