Fixed Issues in Version 24.3 Critical Patch 1 (Banker Edition)

This section describes the issues that have been fixed in this release.

Updates to the Encompass Client Machines

The Encompass 24.3 Critical Patch 1 release includes the following updates, which will be applied to users' Encompass client machines (24.3.0.3). This client update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.

The Loan Limit field (3331) was not populating correctly for loans with an application date (745) in 2024 after synchronizing the new 2025 Conventional County Loan Limits table in Encompass. For example, the Loan Limit field would indicate Non-Conforming (Jumbo) or Jumbo for loans where the loan amount was below the 2024 county loan limit. The cause of this issue was identified and the issue with 2024 loans is now fixed. The correct loan limits are now being applied again for 2024 loans and the Loan Limits field reflects Conforming or Non-Conforming (Jumbo) or Jumbo accordingly.

There is no additional action or synchronization required with the Conventional County Loan Limits tables in Encompass for this issue once you upgrade to 24.3.0.3.

Note about existing loans:

This fix applies only to new loans created after upgrading to Encompass 24.3.0.3. To fix this issue with field 3331 in existing loans that were impacted by this issue, there are two options: 

  • Open the loan file, and then save the loan file. This will trigger a recalculation of all calculated fields, including field 3331, and then the correct loan limit will be populated to the field based on the Conventional County Limits setting in Encompass.

  • Change a value in any of the following fields. This will trigger a recalculation of all calculated fields, including field 3331, and the correct loan limit will be populated to the field based on the Conventional County Loan Limits setting in Encompass. The trigger fields are: 

    • Zip (15), Unit # (16), Application Date (745), Loan Amount (1109)
