Details:  The following new entry was added to the Electronic Document Management section of the Feature Enhancements page:

Update for Viewing eFolder Files in Native HTML Format

When viewing a file in the eFolder document viewer, users can click the View Original or View in Original Format button to display a copy of the file in its original file format in a separate window. Prior to Encompass 24.3, when a user was viewing an HTML file and then clicked the button, a copy of the HTML file was then displayed in any available HTML viewer window. (The file also continued to display in the document viewer panel.) To protect against potentially malicious HTML files, starting in Encompass 24.3 a copy of the HTML file is now displayed in a separate Notepad window when the user clicks the View Original or View in Original Format button. (The file also continues to display in the document viewer panel just like it did in previous versions.)

Users have the option to save the file in its original HTML format using Notepad’s File > Save As option.

Details: The following entries on the New Features & Forms page and the Feature Enhancements page have been updated.

New Features & Forms page:

• The New Lock Comparison Tool Fields Setting Added Under Secondary Setup entry has been updated with a note clarifying that the fields available for selection are either from the Lock Request Form and/or Lock Request Additional Fields. Currently borrower paired fields (e.g., 2950 --> 1811) are not supported.

Feature Enhancements page:

• The New Gifts and Grants Collection Fields entry was updated to explain that there is no calculation logic applied to the new fields and they are used for down payment and closing costs data points that are sent to Freddie Mac's LPA.

• The New Fields Added to Lock Request Form entry has been updated to clarify that The Floated Updated on field can be updated by your selected product and pricing provider but is not required. In addition, the bullet point about the EPPS integration not being supported has been removed.

• The ICE PPE Provider ID Saved to Lock Snapshot entry has been updated to clarify which loan actions utilize the ICE PPE Provider ID.

• The New Persona Options for MI Center entry has been updated to include a note on default MI Center persona settings.

Details: A new Fixed Issues for Version 24.3.0.1 Server Patch 1 section and a new Fixed Issues for Version 24.3.0.2 Server Patch 2 section were added to the Fixed Issues page to describe updates to the initial Encompass 24.3 release that were made to address issues discovered during pre-release testing. Both of these updates will be provided on December 7, 2024.

Status Online Notifications Now Sent as Expected for TPO Connect Loans

The Status Online Tool is used to publish loan status updates to a secure website (Encompass Consumer Connect, Loan Connect, or TPO Connect ) for viewing by your borrowers and partners. When you use the Status Online tool to publish updates, you can also edit any notification emails that are sent with the updates. An issue occurred with loans originated from a TPO Connect site where Encompass was not sending notification emails after a TPO Connect file was saved and the user exited the loan even though the Status Online tool was set to automatically send TPO notifications after updating the loan. This issue has been resolved. Status Online is now working as expected for TPO Connect loans. After updating the loan and then exiting, Encompass users will see the Status Online pop-up window indicating Publishing... and once completed, the emails would be sent and could be viewed on the TPO Connect site by TPO contacts.

Details: The New Lock Comparison Tool entry on the New Features & Forms page was updated to indicate that field 4788 needs to be added to the Encompass Reporting Database prior to adding the Rate Lock Validation Status column (i.e., field 4788) to the Encompass Pipeline. Failure to add the field may result in errors when attempting to add the column to the Pipeline.

Details: The New Option to View Current Loan-Level Archival Status in Pipeline, Reports, Dashboards entry on the Feature Enhancements page was updated. Specifically, additional information about the impact on the audit data when removing field 5016 from the database was added: 

• When you remove field 5016 from the database, the historical loan-level data previously stored in the Audit Trail tool for this field will also be removed. If you do not want to lose this data stored in the Audit Trail tool, then do not remove field 5016 from the database. This ensures your historical data in field 5016 will continue to be retained and audited, but the To indicate a loan as Archive column in the Pipeline may contain inaccurate or stale archive status data.

Field ID 3841 and Field ID 4209 Updated in Get Loan API When Confirming Lock Cancellation Request

When a lock cancellation request is confirmed through Encompass or an API, the following updates are made to the Get Loan API:

• Field ID 3941 is updated to “ReLock”

• Field ID 4209 is updated to “Cancelled Lock”

Field ID 5029 Added to SMOS API

Field ID 5029 has been added to the response payload of the SMOS API.
