Updates to the Encompass Client Machines
The Encompass 24.2 November Service Pack release includes the following updates, which will be applied to users' Encompass client machines (24.2.0.4). This client update can be controlled manually via the Encompass Version Manager tool. If the tool has been configured to always apply new releases to users’ computers automatically, users will receive this update upon their initial log in of Encompass following the release.
New Options Added for Rehabilitation Period Field (for 203(k) Rehabilitation Mortgage Insurance Program Revisions)
To support the revisions to the 203(k) Rehabilitation Mortgage Insurance Program announced by HUD in Mortgagee Letter 2024-13 effective November 4, 2024, new enumerations have been added to the Rehabilitation Period dropdown list (MAX23K.X133) provided on the FHA Management input form (FHA 203k tab):

With the new revisions to the 203(k) Rehabilitation Mortgage Insurance Program, the rehabilitation period for the Standard 203(k) program was extended to not exceed 12 months. The rehabilitation period for the Limited 203(k) program was extended to not exceed nine months.
