Audit Trail

Use the Audit Trail tool to view and export a history of changes made to selected fields in the loan file. Each time one of the fields is changed (and the loan file is saved), a record is created in the audit trail for that field. Each record contains the date of the change, the ID and name of the user who made the change, and the value the field was changed to.

Configuration of Audit Trail Fields

The configuration of three areas (by your system administrator) determines the fields you can view in the Audit Trail tool.

To View and Export an Audit Trail:  

  1. On the Tools tab, click Audit Trail.

  2. To view an audit trail, enter a Field ID and click Show.

    • Or click the Find icon to select from the list of fields for which audit trails have been created.

  3. To export an audit trail, enter (or find) a field ID and click the Excel icon.

    • The data is exported and displays in an Excel spreadsheet. You can then print or save the data to a file type such as .xls, .csv, or .txt.
