Shipping Detail

Use the Shipping Detail tool to record information related to the shipping, delivery, and storage of the loan documents.

Shipping Details

The Investor Delivery Date (when the loan must be delivered to the investor), Investor, and Investor Loan Number are populated from the Secondary Registration tool.
The Target Delivery Date is the date (typically a few days before that Investor Delivery Date) that you are targeting for the delivery of the loan.
The Actual Ship Date is the date that the initial set of documents were shipped to the investor.
The Recording Number is the number assigned when the deed is recorded with the county.
The Pool ID and Pool number are populated from the Secondary Lock Tool.

Enter name, address, and contact details for the Ship To destination.
- Or click the Address Book icon to select a Ship To contact (in the Investor category) from your business contacts.
Enter name, address, and contact details in the Customer Service and Post Closing Trailing Docs sections.
- Click Copy From Ship To to copy the Ship To details to either section, or click the Address Book icon to select from your business contacts.

If you have registered the loan with MERS, enter the MERS confirmation number and the date the loan was registered. If you are using the Auto MERS MIN Numbering feature, (or entered the number on the Borrower Summary or Closing RegZ forms) the number will already be populated.

Type information (such as location coordinates) that identify where the loan documents are located at the storage facility.

If you click the Address Book icon next to the Name field (field ID VEND.X549) in the Note Delivery section and then select an investor business contact that has data entered for the Location Code and Investor Code, the data from these fields is copied to the corresponding fields in the Physical File Storage section.
