Security Overview

The Encompass Connector integrates with Encompass via secure Encompass Developer Connect (Developer Connect) API's. All communications happen over https and the design utilizes Developer Connect's standard webhook mechanism and Salesforce site guest user to notify the Connector of any updates made to the loan in Encompass. The webhook notification only includes the loan GUID and upon the receipt of the notification, another secure and authenticated call is made from Salesforce to Encompass to retrieve loan detail.

Similarly, when a change is made in the Salesforce data object, a secure and authenticated call is made via Developer Connect APIs to push the updated data into Encompass.

The Encompass Connector design and implementation has been reviewed and approved by both Salesforce and ICE Mortgage Technology’s information security teams.
