Feature Enhancements in Version 22.1 April Service Pack

With the Encompass Consumer Connect 22.1 April Service Pack, Encompass Consumer Connect will provide a Homeowners Insurance Service to make the task providing proof of homeowners insurance (HOI) a more automated and efficient process. Rather than borrowers having to work through multiple systems and vendors to purchase an HOI policy and then manually upload the required documentation, they can use the Homeowners Insurance Service to seamlessly request quotes and purchase HOI from within the loan. Lenders then save time and ensure loan quality by receiving the borrower proof of HOI directly in the loan file in Encompass in a closing-ready format.

The new Homeowners Insurance Service is enabled by default on Encompass Consumer Connect sites and borrower portal widgets. This means that borrowers are automatically presented with a Homeowners Insurance task card in the borrower portal unless a lender administrator disables the service. A new field has been added to Automated Underwriting Settings in Services Management for LPA. The TPO Number field allows third-party originators to specify their TPO number along with their LPA credentials. This new field is not required.

Enhancements have been made to the interactive drop-down calendar in the loan application. When the borrower clicks the calendar icon next to a date field, the calendar displays and the borrower selects a date. Previously, borrowers had to use right and left arrows to change the month and year. With this enhancement, the month and year have changed to drop-down fields. Borrowers can now choose the month and year by clicking the field and selecting a value.

The Loan Summary tab has been updated and now displays the Lock Expiration Date if the Lock Expires field 762 in Encompass is populated. The Lock Expiration Date is displayed under the Rate section. The Rate section displays only if the Lock Expiration Date is populated.
