Use the Ginnie Mae PDD Batch setting to configure default custodian, issuer ID, and Ginnie Mae I and/or Ginnie Mae II Pool bank information, and enable loan file data to populate in the order window. This is a one-time configuration unless there are required updates in the future. Authorized Encompass users such as Encompass administrators need to configure this setting for successful pool uploads to Ginnie Mae's Single Family Pool Delivery Model (SFPDM) site.

To Configure Ginnie Mae PDD Batch Setting:

  1. On the menu bar, click Encompass, and then click Settings.
  2. On the left panel, click Additional Services, and then click Ginnie Mae PDD Batch.
  3. Update information in the panels listed below, and click the Save icon.

Use this panel to add as many custodian IDs as used by your Encompass instance/users.

  1. In the Custodian Information panel, click the New icon.

  2. In the Add Custodian Information window:

    1. Type the custodian ID and corresponding name.

    2. Select the Export Screen Default check box if you want this to be the first displayed item in your users' Ginnie Mae PDD Batch export window.

      You can also define the default custodian ID by selecting the Default check box in the Custodian Information panel.

    3. Click the OK button.

  1. Repeat the above steps for additional custodian information sets.

If you have more than one custodian information set, they will be displayed in a drop-down field in your users' Ginnie Mae PDD Batch export window.

Use this panel to add your Ginnie Mae-approved issuer ID(s).

  1. In the Issuer IDs panel, click the New icon.

  2. In the Add Issuer ID window:

    1. Type your Ginnie Mae-approved issuer ID.

    2. Select the Export Screen Default check box if you want this to be the first displayed item in your users' Ginnie Mae PDD Batch export window.

      You can also define the default issuer ID by selecting the Default check box in the Issuer ID panel.

    3. Click the OK button.

  3. Repeat the above steps for additional Issuer IDs.

Select the Populate Pool Export Screen with Loan Data checkbox in this panel to enable loan file data to populate in the order window (so that users no longer need to manually enter the data).

When this checkbox is selected, and users attempt to deliver their pool to Ginnie Mae, the following Encompass fields map to fields in the Pool Export Details window and autofill them:

For enumeration fields, if there is a discrepancy between the value in the loan and the order UI (for example, if there is an enumeration in the loan field that does not match the enumeration in the export order UI, or if a user types a value that is not a valid enum in the export order window) it will display as blank

Use this panel to configure your Ginnie Mae I and/or Ginnie Mae II Pool bank information. If your organization uses only one pool type, ensure that the check box is only selected for pool types your organization uses.

For example, if your instance uses only Ginnie Mae II, clear the Ginnie Mae I check box, and configure Ginnie Mae II.

  1. Type information in the mandatory fields indicated by red asterisks (*).

  2. Type optional information in the additional fields (not indicated by red asterisks).

All this information will be pulled when your users select a pool in their Ginnie Mae PDD Batch Export window and will be included in the export file that they upload to Ginnie Mae’s SFPDM site.
