Feature Enhancements in Version 22.3 Critical Patch 5

This section discusses the updates and enhancements to existing forms, features, services, or settings that are provided in this release.

The Mortgage Insurance (field ID 232) field has been added to the ICE Mortgage Technology Partner Network to enable users to apply the actual PMI to EPPS calculations.

For EPPS to calculate the PMI into the DTI, the PMI (field ID 232) must be populated.

  • If a PMI (field ID 232) value is entered, that value will be passed from Encompass to EPPS and then stored in the MtgIns column in the loan record.

The FHA MIP calculation has been updated to reflect the current Annual MIP.

The Agency, Non-Agency, and Non-QM PMI calculations have been updated as follows:

  • PMI = The value in the MtgIns column in the loan record

  • PMI = 0 when any of the Lender-paid MI or No MI options are true

MtgIns has been added to the request payload of the loanQualifier and eligibility APIs.

  • Name element is MtgIns

  • Field is decimal(2)

  • Field is optional

  • Value is stored in MtgIns column in the loan record

  • NULL values are stored as zero
