Feature Enhancements in Version 17.1
Non-Warrantable Condos and Condotels

To enable Encompass users to submit pricing requests for non-warrantable condos and condotels, the Subject Property is a Condotel (field ID 4115) and Subject Property is a Non-Warrantable Project (field ID 4116) check boxes on the Encompass Lock Request Form have been added to the Ellie Mae Network.

To enable the Encompass Product and Pricing Service (EPPS) to update Encompass when a qualification for a condotel and/or non-warrantable condo is performed, a “Condotel” and “Non-Warrantable Condo” option has been added to the Encompass Update Elements section of the Settings tab. When selected, the Condotel and/or NonWarrantable Condo values in EPPS will update the Subject Property is a Condotel (field ID 4115) and/or Subject Property is a Non-Warrantable Project (field ID 4116) check boxes on the Encompass Lock Request Form.
To Select the Condotel and Non-Warrantable Condo Options:

Log into EPPS as a Client Admin.

Select the Settings tab.

Navigate down to the Encompass Update Elements section.

Select the “Condotel” and/or “Non-Warrantable Condo” options.

Click Save.
Rule Manager

To enable users to more easily locate rules on the Rule Manager Listing page, Description has been added to the list of columns which can be displayed on the Listing page.
To Customize Columns on Rule Manager Listing Page:

Log into EPPS as a Client Admin.

Select the Rule Manager tab.

On the Rule Manger Listing page, click on the Columns button.

Select the columns you want to be displayed on the Listing page.

Click Update.

Five new conditions have been added to the Select Rule Condition dropdown list on the Rule Manager to match existing product options or property designations.

Dashboard

Currently, the Dashboard automatically refreshes once every minute and all open pop-up windows close. To prevent the open pop-up windows from closing during a refresh, the Dashboard will no longer automatically refresh when any of the following pop-up windows are open.

To easily locate suspended investors on the Dashboard Listing page, “Suspended” will be displayed in the investor’s Messages column when the Pricing Suspended check box is selected on the Dashboard Update Investor page.

To Access Update Investor Page:

On the Dashboard Listing page, click on the Edit link next to the investor you want to update.
User Interface

To enable Encompass users to submit pricing requests for a planned unit development (PUD), a new PUD option has been added to the Property Type dropdown list on the Property tab. This field is mapped to the “PUD” Property Type on the Encompass Lock Request Form.

Currently, EPPS only supports standard five (5) digit zip codes (e.g., 94588). Encompass, on the other hand, supports nine (9) digit zip codes (e.g., 94588-8485). To align EPPS to Encompass, and stop EPPS from truncating 9 digit zip codes to 5 digits when returning the values to Encompass, EPPS now supports 9 digit zip codes.

When displayed, the VA Program Notes will use the values from the 2017 VA Maximum Guaranty Limits. These values are determined using the 1 Unit Limit from the GSE
General Conforming Limits.
