Marketing Automation Rules
Prior to this release, Marketing Automation Rules (MAR) were applied to all users. Starting with this release, Encompass CRM administrators have the ability to apply Marketing Automation Rules to specific users or all users, so that your marketing campaigns can be sent to a more targeted audience, and help increase the effectiveness of your communications. This update applies only to instances that have MAR enabled.
To support this new feature, the Create/Edit Marketing Automation Rules page has been updated with a Users field.
Admins can click the Edit button on the Users field and then use the options in the Select Users window to apply the MAR rule to selected users, or All Users.
Users assigned to a MAR can view the rules applied to their account on their Hotlist page.
- Log into Encompass CRM as an administrator.
- Click Site Admin and then click Marketing Automation Rules.
- On the Marketing Automation Rules page, click on a rule.
- Select the check box corresponding to each user to assign the MAR to the user. You can also select the All Users check box to assign the MAR to all your users.
If you select All Users, as users as added to your instance, the MAR will apply to all your new users.
- Click the Save button.
