Why we made these updates: The following issues was fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass Loan Officer Connect is operating as expected. The issues that are chosen to be fixed are based on the severity of their impact to clients and client feedback.
2018 Demographic Information Source Section Relocated for Mobile Users
The 2018 Demographic Information Source section has been moved to the top of the Government Monitoring section on the Borrower and Co-Borrower pages in Encompass LO Connect. This change unifies the mobile design with the other Encompass LO connect views and with Encompass.
Addressed I Do Not Wish To Provide This Information Indicator Issue When Switching Between 2018 and 2017 Demographic Information
An issue was discovered where the I do not wish to provide this information indicator would remain selected when switching to the 2017 Demographic Information form when this selection was only set for the Ethnicity section on the 2018 form. This behavior did not match the Encompass implementation of the 2018 HMDA changes. This has been addressed and now the I do not wish to provide this information indicator is only selected when switching to the 2017 form if the I do not wish to provide this information indicator is selected in the Ethnicity, Race, and Sex section of the 2018 form.
Addressed Saving Issue with I Do Not Wish to Provide This Information Check Boxes
When the December Service Pack was released, a known issue was called out that stated the following:
Note: If a user selects I do not wish to provide this information for one or two categories and saves the loan, these selections are cleared. If the user selects I do not wish to provide this information for all three categories and saves the loan, these selections remain and the loan is saved. This behavior will be addressed in a release in January to enable Encompass LO Connect users to select I do not wish to provide this information for only one or two sections. If you need to select this option for one or two section you can either select the options in LO Connect and save the loan, which clears the selection, and then select the options and save again. Alternatively, you can select these option in Encompass.
This issue has been fixed and the users can now select I do not wish to provide this information for one or two sections and save the loan without the selections clearing.
