Updates and Enhancements to Features for 21.1 April Service Pack
This section discusses the updates and enhancements to existing forms, features, services, or settings that are provided in this release.
Administrator Settings
A new Show Loan Summary Bar option has been added to the Encompass Admin Portal. This new option is the initial phase of a plan to make the loan summary bar more configurable to support the multiple channels you may be working with. This new option enables the administrator to show or hide the loan summary bar at the top of a loan for that specific instance, providing more space on the screen.
To Show or Hide the Loan Summary Bar
- From the Encompass Admin Portal, select Company/User Setup.
- Select Loan Summary Bar.
-
On the Loan Summary Page, select the toggle next to the Show Loan Summary Bar option to turn the Loan Summary Bar on or off.
Note: This option is turned on by default.

- In the Date Denied field, enter the date the Statement of Denial was completed.

-
In section 3, type the name of the lender and their contact information.
- By default, this section is automatically populated with the lender information entered on the Closing Vendor Information input form in Encompass.
- For loans in the Correspondent loan channel with non-delegated underwriting, your company information should be entered here (rather than the lender) since your company is acting as the Correspondent investor in these types of transactions.
- If authorized by the administrator, you can click the blue Lock icon and manually enter information in the field.
- In section 4, type the name and address of the federal agency that administers ECOA compliance for this credit application.

The Home Counseling Providers form has been updated to recognize if the Borrower’s Current Address is a Foreign address and accordingly populate the Subject Property Address instead of Current Address to retrieve the Home Counseling Agencies. The logic for populating the Address information in Home Counseling Providers form is as detailed below:
-
When the Foreign Address check box is cleared for the primary borrower’s current address, the current address is populated in Agency Search Criteria borrower address fields.
-
When the Foreign Address check box is selected for the primary borrower’s current address, the subject property address is populated in the Agency Search Criteria borrower address fields.

A change has been made to the order information displayed on the Services page in Encompass LO Connect. Previously, when an order had been placed for a service, the borrower's name displayed, indicated who the order was placed for, or the method bu which the order was placed. This has been changed, and now the name of the vendor that the order was placed with displays instead. This change enables the user to quickly identify the vender that the order was placed with.

Fixed Issues
Why we made these updates: The following issues were fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass LO Connect is operating as expected. The issues that are chosen to be fixed are based on the severity of their impact to clients and client feedback.
An issue was discovered where users were unable to use EPPS to search for available loan programs. When a user tried to access EPPS, the user was required to enter new credentials as there was a set of predefined credentials populated. When the user changed credentials and attempted to log in they received an error that stated the following:
Mapped EPPS user is different than the login EPPS user.
This issue has been resolved, and now users can sign in and search for available programs as expected.
