Encompass Web Input Form Builder
Custom Forms
All elements in the Encompass Web Input Form Builder use the ng-disabled property to enable/disable the element. Although the value of the property is hard-coded at the time of token generation, the Ellie Mae Scripting Framework allows for the toggling of an element’s disabled property.
You can toggle the disabled property on the following elements:
- Calendar
- Contact Button
- Hyperlink
- Label
- Multi-Line TextBox
- Rolodex
- TextBox
For information on the Scripting Framework and code examples, refer to the Custom Forms chapter in the Encompass Web Customization Developer's Guide. (An Encompass Developer Connect user account is required to access this guide in the LO Connect Developer Portal.)
Encompass Web Input Form Builder
A category box is a container that is typically used on forms to group a section of related fields such as Borrower Information or Credit Information. In earlier versions of the Encompass Web Input Form Builder, you could add up to two (2) group boxes to a category box. Starting in this 19.2 release, you can now add up to four (4) group boxes to a category box. This enhancement enables administrators to create up to three columns on a form.
When adding elements to input forms, the elements are auto-positioned as they are dragged and dropped in the form workspace, and their width and offset can be adjusted using the element’s Properties panel. The Offset property has been updated to enable you to have spacing between the elements without offsetting elements in the next row. For example, if the element1 has been offset and that results in the element2 located to the right of element1 being pushed to the next row, the spacing of the element2 will start at the left indent of the next row and not be offset to the right.

Fixed Issue
Why we made these updates: The following issue was fixed to improve usability and to help ensure Encompass Web Input Form Builder is operating as expected. The issues that are chosen to be fixed are based on the severity of their impact to clients and client feedback.
When using the Encompass Web Input Form Builder, you can set an element's Visible property to False so that it will not display on the custom form, and then add another element (like a button, for example) that includes JavaScript code that will set the other element's Visible property to True so that it will display on the form when the button is selected. However, an issue occurred where the JavaScript code written for this purpose was not being recognized by the system and the element that was supposed to display on the form when a user clicked the button was not displaying. This issue has been resolved so that the JavaScript coding is recognized and the element will display as expected when the button is selected.
